I’m Jamie Barrio — a single mom, a maker, and the hands behind this small, deeply personal shop. I started Hook & Pearls during a time when life demanded strength, and crafting became a form of survival. What began as a way to bring comfort into my own life has grown into something more — a space where handmade items offer warmth, beauty, and meaning.

Here, you’ll find more than just beanies, scarves, and blankets. I also create crochet plushies — soft, strange little companions made with the same care and attention as everything else. Some are cute. Some are a little eerie. All are made to feel like they belong somewhere — maybe with you.

Each piece is crafted by hand, often during the late-night hours when the world is quiet and still. I don’t mass-produce. I don’t rush. My inventory grows slowly and intentionally, one item at a time. These aren’t just products — they’re thoughtful creations, stitched with purpose in the moments between motherhood and everyday life.
